John Wayne
Owner of Buckhorn Gallery in
Colorado just l-o-v-e-s John Wayne and has committed an
entire wall to his memory. He asked Margaret to do
something special. This 12" square marble is the perfect
surface for The Duke's likeness as he contemplates
pulling his gun from the holster. To learn more about
this process, give Margaret a call. |

restaurant ordered this large glass engraving to use as

The Splitrock Lighthouse is
featured on a 24 X15" inch oval mirror set in a handmade
piece of furniture for another lighthouse lover. Just
imagine what a conversation piece that is! |
|

their wedding on the paddleboat! Now this is a husband
who will never forget where he got married, and the

Capturing Memories on Glass
"There are some images from childhood
that never leave your mind and imagination. The barn on my
childhood farm is one such memory. The barn is long gone
and the family homestead is sold, but the memories live on
through the framed custom glass wall hanging Margaret
Stewart made for me. She used five old tiny black and white
photos to recreate those memories. This treasure
is certain to become an heirloom."

Kitchen Counter Mural
This 42” x 4 1/2”
engraved glass is uniquely customized. The homeowner asked
for kitchen and food items plus flowers, a hummingbird and
grapevine. |
|
 |
|
Then he asked if his grandchildren could be
in it. Look closely as they are pictured swinging and
playing outside, while everything else is on the kitchen
counter. |
The “Windstalker” Dragon
The Windstalker is a dragon in flight, engraved on a 33”
diamond-shaped window in a private spa in Eden Prairie.
This work required intricate strokes to create the
shadowing and dragon scales. |

Personalizing Your Front Door
|
|
 |
Sidelight windows designed to any image you request. This
window is the Colorado Columbine and can be removed if the
homeowner moves. Many homes have windows on one or both sides of your
front-door entrance. These sidelight window designs can be
flowers, animals, birds, fish … whatever says, “It’s my
home (or cabin).” |
Art on Wheels …
|
The ducks in flight scene is an
enlarged part of the engraving on the right side of a Chevy
Suburban.
|
 |
|
The deer engraving is the left
side. Now that the truck is old, the owners removed
the windows and will incorporate the artistry into
their new home. |
|
 |
The artist's own van is a
moving tribute to her talents. The wise old owl peeks out
at people to remind them to be wise in their driving and
not follow too closely. The whimsical detailed engraving of
the raccoon has such a personality he makes everyone smile
when they see him.
 |
“Gone Fishing”
|
This lucky fisherperson can relive that spectacular catch
over and over. The 12” x 14” engravings are on a glass
cupboard door at the cabin where fishing is always good. |
